WSJ Posits Obama Could Be Bush's Third Term

Mr. Obama isn't merely "running to the center." He's fleeing from many of his primary positions so markedly and so rapidly that he's embracing a sizable chunk of President Bush's policy. Who would have thought that a Democrat would rehabilitate the much-maligned Bush agenda?

Ignoring the sensationalist title and all the hyperbole, there is some truth to this. It’s really disorienting when the WSJ editorial page could be right. Instead of subverting the current order, Obama is beginning to sound like one its key members.

I never thought I would be agreeing with this, but it is somewhat true. McCain could do well now pointing out the similarities between Obama and Bush as a retaliation to Obama calling him Bush's third term.
